    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. Check hostname&lt;BR /&gt;2. Restart swagentd deamon&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For checking hostname:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# hostname &lt;BR /&gt;hostname returned by this command should be the one specified in /etc/hosts. If not not make it similar. &lt;BR /&gt;Also check /etc/nsswitch.conf and /etc/resolv.conf file becuase this is used for hostname resolution.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For setting up hostname use:&lt;BR /&gt;# set_parms hostname&lt;BR /&gt;(This will reboot the server)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If hostname is Okay and all files are configured properly then you can try restarting the swagentd deamon.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope that helps.&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Whenever I am trying to install a patch on HP-UX 11.00 I am getting this message:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR:   Could not contact host "hp380d".       <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# grep HOSTNAME /etc/rc.config.d/netconf&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# grep IP_ADDRESS /etc/rc.config.d/netconf&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check the /etc/hosts file &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ip-address hostname loghost&lt;BR /&gt;127.0.0.1 localhost loopback&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# nslookup ip-address &lt;BR /&gt;# nslookup hostname&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Should be the same.&lt;BR /&gt;Restart the swagentd if yuou have changed something.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# swagentd -r&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Robert-Jan</description>
