There may be differences between the CIFS version on your J-class and the latest so I'd suggest you read the release notes to check. It's also worth checking the section on kernel parameters in the admin guide to ensure they are set correctly.<BR /><BR />The main configuration file is /etc/opt/samba/smb.conf. You should also copy across any mapping files referenced in this file. Run testparm to check the syntax of the smb.conf. Also check the users and share paths mentioned in the config to ensure they exist on the RP3440.<BR /><BR />Finally, if your existing CIFS server is part of a Windows domain you should ensure that the new server is correctly entered into the domain.<BR /><BR />regards,<BR /><BR />Darren.
