      <description>When trying to regen our kernel i get the error below:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cannot build a kernel using /usr/sbin/config.  The standard output of the command is shown below &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(Bundled) cc: "/usr/conf/space.h.d/core-hpux.h", line 491: error 1504: &lt;BR /&gt;A zero or negative array size is illegal. config: make did an exit&lt;BR /&gt;the command exited with exitcode -71</description>

      <description>Hm, that is typically the case if nstrpty is missing in /stand/system. Weird.&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;I would suggest the following:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1) Double-Check /stand/system, e.g. undesired line feeds or unprintable characters. The command vis(1) may help here. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2) Remove the current build environment to get it re-created from scratch.&lt;BR /&gt;# rm -r /stand/build&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;3) Retry to build the kernel&lt;BR /&gt;# mk_kernel&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Best regards...&lt;BR /&gt;Dietmar.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
