Telling you the printer is disabled.

Issue the 'enable <PRT_NAME>' command against the printer.

View the same CDE windows and the ENABLED column will say 'TRUE'

</PRT_NAME>

Hi

As suggested in screen, enable the printer by #enable printer_name and then in GUI ststus should change to True.

You may have to stop and restart the spooler

Regards
Mahesh

The status "needs-key-operator" means that the HPDPS supervisor thinks the printer needs physical intervention.

Correct the offline condition, or jetdirect-has-been-unplugged or whatever is physically wrong, then re-enable the HPDPS physical printer object.

Since this is HPDPS, the command to re-enable is:
# pdenable <SUPERVISOR-NAME>:<PRINTER-NAME>

rather than the usual
# enable <PRINTER-NAME>

... or of course you can use Sam.
</PRINTER-NAME></PRINTER-NAME></SUPERVISOR-NAME>
