CLUSTER ERROR MESSAGE

Dear All,
I have on rp3440 server, which is in cluster, the problem is whenerver i put #cmviewcl command to this server one line is getting added in /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log file.

The error messge comes in syslog file is:--
cmclconfd[15256]: Error opening /etc/cmcluster/cmknowncmds

But this command display output successfully.
all cluster nodes are up.

Can anybody find soln.

Probably not a very helpful reply this.

We have that file and it's empty, owned by bin, read only.

-r-------- 1 bin bin 0 Mar 15 2004 cmknowncmds

Anyway it's a start.

Looks like someone deeletd this file, which Serviceguard needs, even though it is empty. Just touch the filename to re-create it. Later patches to Serviceguard add a comment to the file to tell you not to delete it.

You might want to apply SG patch PHSS_32731

Just

touch /etc/cmcluster/cmknowncmds

then
chown bin:bin /etc/cmcluster/cmknowncmds
chmod 400 /etc/cmcluster/cmknowncmds

I do not have that file in my setup but I am not getting any errors logged in syslog .
