      <description>hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;it seems the file may be corrupted in the tape or u may be overwriting the file when it may be in use.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;may i know what options u use to frecover? u may also like to use -N to verify the backup media contents.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards.</description>

      <description>I'm going to suggest some really basic things here, which you've probably already tried, it will get things started I hope.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is the database running?  If it is then that file may well be active, in which case I would try restoring to somewhere else if you have space, just to check whether the database is stoppping the restore.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SAM is using frecover so it's probably worth doing man fbackup, man frecover and searching the forum for frecover type stuff.</description>
