Hi,
can anyone share the practical (cut to cut )procedure of installing EMC solution enabler , EMC control Center and EMC powerpath in HP-Ux 11i.

rahul -

ECC (EMC Control Center) - is installed on a windows system. if you have support for EMC, get an PowerLink account ASAP.

EMC PowerPath is a simple hp-ux swinstall.

EMC Solution Enabler, can be installed on one of your hp-ux servers. This allows you to run Command Line Interface (CLI). Example: syminq, symconfigure, etc. This CLI can do better than the ECC method. But, use ECC as a "complement" to the CLI.

type swinstall
and use that to select your depot and install it on hpux. you can register your depot install so the installer will see it with swreg command on hpux.
Once its registered
mark your patch for install
then install it
follow directions on screen.
