I show a file with cat。but I can not see the true code.

My term also could not show me normal code,just ....1...

How to sovle it , thank you .

What do you mean by it can't show true code.
Can you go in a bit of detail.

I can not see what the terminal show with me.

I mean that my terminal has been crupted.
How can I restore the default configuration.

when user tset and reset :
cd /
ls -al

my terminal still show me :
... 2 ... .... ...

I still can not see what the content.

but when I paste the ...... to a file ,
it can show me whith:
# reset
# ls
.ICEauthority .history .sw glance.print oracle
.TTauthority .mozilla MANPATH home sbin
.VRTSob .mozilla-license bin lib stand
.Xauthority .profile car lost+found tmp
.dt .rhosts core mnt usr
.dtprofile .rnd dev net var
.glancerc_hp .ssh etc opt

# stty sane
