      <description>I'm getting:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;gzip: "filename": invalid compressed data--crc error&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;when trying to guzip a file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any ideas?&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks....Jim</description>

      <description>I second Patrick's opinion. You've got yourself a corrupt file. If this file is too big (&amp;gt;2GB) at the compression time, it might have been cut off towards the end of compression and nobody may have noticed it. If it is not a big file, someone might have messed with it with an editor or something, accidentally. Otherwise, I have never seen gzip creating corrupt archives.</description>

      <description>Jim -- IF the file got moved via FTP along the way, its probably a case of a non-binary FTP .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I've run into that before.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Oz&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
