      <description>Helloo all..&lt;BR /&gt;i am taking backup by following command&lt;BR /&gt;# fbackup -v /I /var/tmp/back05 -i /back05 -f /dev/rmt/0mn&lt;BR /&gt;#####################&lt;BR /&gt;After finishing backup i want to restore it on /back05_new instead of /back05&lt;BR /&gt;How to achieve it ..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Waiting for replies..&lt;BR /&gt;thanx...&lt;BR /&gt;yogesh&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have a look at the -X (upper case) option for frecover&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-X    &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Recover files relative to the current working directory. Normally frecover recovers files to their absolute path name.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Steven</description>

      <description>You need to use the '-X' option to frecover.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# cd /back05_new&lt;BR /&gt;# frecover -X -f /dev/rmt/0mn -i /back05&lt;BR /&gt;and whatever other options you need&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# man frecover&lt;BR /&gt;for more details</description>

      <description>frecover -xvf /dev/rmt/0m&lt;BR /&gt;(restore entire tape to originating directory&lt;BR /&gt;structure)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;frecover -xovf /dev/rmt/0m&lt;BR /&gt;(restore entire tape to originating directory structure and overwrite any existing files)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(restore entire tape to /tmp originating directory structure will be overwritten)&lt;BR /&gt;cd /tmp&lt;BR /&gt;frecover -xXvf /dev/rmt/0m&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hope this helps,</description>
