    <description>Hi Friends,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am trying to configure Oracle 10g RAC on HP-UX 11.11 Server, i have configured Cluster and applied RAC related patches, but now am facing &lt;BR /&gt;problem opening sam. It prompting error msg as below. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# sam&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/lib/dld.sl: Invalid shared library file: /usr/lib/libpthread.1&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/lib/dld.sl: No such file or directory&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/sbin/sam[220]: 28445 Abort(coredump)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Kindly help to solve this issue.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks and Regards&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi RAC!!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have applied patches which is mentioned in &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.metalink.oracle.com" target="_blank"&gt;www.metalink.oracle.com&lt;/A&gt; for RAC on HPUX 11.11&lt;BR /&gt;along with QPK DEC 2004. Can u suggest me &lt;BR /&gt;any particular SAM patches is required.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Nagaraju S</description>

      <description>goto maintenance and support for hp patches. A keyword based search for sam returns a lot of patches. check latest and check if you have it or not.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;it seems  that something went wrong during your patch installation.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;try to check your /var/adm/sw/swagent.log file to see if your patches installation has encountered any errors.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you also can run a "swverify \*" to figure out all the incomsistencies on your system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;fl</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If this was working fine maybe something might have happened during the patch installation, you need to do a swverify and make sure everything come clean.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would engage HP , run the patch analysis and send it over to them and thye would have a better idea what is causing this issue,also if you are down on the patch level you need to upgrade.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ALWAYS make a make_tape_recovery image before you start patching/working on the server making changes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HGN</description>
