A book by rafiq ur rehman is best for start.

Other than that hp education book 1 and 2 is also good. But you will have to undergo hp education course in order to get it.

HP has all of it's software docs for HP_UX online at: http://docs.hp.com (bookmark this location). However, as is true for virtually all manufacturers of software, the docs are reference manuals, not study guides. It's like trying to learn a language by reading a dictionary. Many times, the sysadmin manuals will describe a concept using buzzwords that have not been adequately defined. That's why commercial books are recommended. This is especially true if you've never worked on a Unix system.

If you have some experience on just one version of Unix, remember that very little of system admin is common between different flavors of Unix. This is especially true for I/O and peripherals, building and modifying the kernel and setting up networking.
