      <description>I have created a depot on a server, bundled a group of patches.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What is the correct swcopy syntax to copy this depot/bundle to another server?</description>

      <description>HI,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The basic command will look like:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;swcopy /path/to/current/depot_name @ new_hostname:/path/to/new/depot_root&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It will place depot_name into the new depot_root.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;And of course you can run the interactive GUI by just kicking off&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;swcopy &amp;amp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and then select source &amp;amp; destination.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH,&lt;BR /&gt;Jeff</description>

      <description>Still having issues ... &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am on the target host.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I issue the command, and get the below error:&lt;BR /&gt;swcopy sourcehost:/var/opt/ignite/depot/Rel_B.11.11/06_05XSW11i @ /var/opt/ignite/depot/Rel_B.11.11/06_05_XSW11i&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;=======  10/05/05 15:08:29 CDT  BEGIN swcopy SESSION (non-interactive)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;       * Session started for user "root@targethost".&lt;BR /&gt;         &lt;BR /&gt;       * Beginning Selection&lt;BR /&gt;       * "targethost:/var/opt/ignite/depot/Rel_B.11.11/06_05_XSW11i":&lt;BR /&gt;         This target does not exist and will be created.&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR:   There is currently no depot software on host "targethost" at&lt;BR /&gt;         location "/var/spool/sw".       <description>can u try the option ,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;put the targethost name before the path to the destination name of the directory path ? for e.g hostname of the machine: AVIVA:/var/opt/ignite......&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It may work.</description>

      <description>none of this worked.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ftped the bundled.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then ran swreg on the new depot area, worked fine.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
