VxVM disk remove

I had tried to create a VxVM root disk from LVM disks.using vxcp_lvmroot -v.I faced some error and had to terminate the process.Now i am not able tom recreate the rootdisk, it is saying the device is in use.
I tried doing "vxdisk offline" and "vxdisk rm " and also vxdiskunsetup" both from single user mode and multiusermode.

please help....
