    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As per my knowledge chacl is only for file you cant set permission for directory.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you want this user is only accessible any particular directory then set proper access privilege if this is a ftp user then you can use chroot also.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Suraj&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;BR /&gt; Hi Guys,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; I need to know on how to grant an access to specfic user to all the sub-directories and files in the '/DATA' filesystem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; I can use the 'chacl' command to grant access to a user but how do i recursively grant user 'victor' access to all the sub-directories as well.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; Below is the command that I have used to grant user 'victor' access to a single file and it works fine.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; chacl victor.%=rwx filename&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; But how do i grant user 'victor' access to all the sub-direcotries and files in the /DATA file system..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please advise,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; Thanks in Advance&lt;BR /&gt; Raf</description>
