      <description>yes, it's possible to merge w/ the httpd.conf. You'd put the SSL related directives in your httpd.conf or even another included config file if you wanted. It'd probably be easier to manage if you keep the SSL directives out of your httpd.conf.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-denver</description>

      <description>hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;this is possible but not recommended for obvious reasons.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In your httpd.conf, you will find the following  section:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;IFDEFINE ssl=""&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;LoadModule ssl_module         libexec/libssl.so&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/IFDEFINE&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Therefore you can just comment this part out and append the content of your SSL configuration in the same file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hope this helps too!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;kind regards&lt;BR /&gt;yogeeraj</description>
