    <description>Stephen, thanks for the reponse. I am trying to use Informix's "tbtape -s" which is a binary script. Is that the one you are talking about?</description>

      <description>I have an old HP-UX system which use to archive its Informix database to tapes in which an operator has to load and unload tapes when asked but now we have to archive it to disk. The output is like this:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Performing archive of the entire INFORMIX-OnLine system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please mount tape and press Return to continue ...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does anyone have a script file that can automatically archive Informix to disk and answer the questions automatically.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Use the exact same script.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Change the target of the archive, probably a variable exported from tape to a disk file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Where it says /dev/rmt/0m&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;change it to a file or directory.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Post he current script, I'd be happy to make revision examples for you if I'm still up when I see it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
