I hope you have gone through the System require section in Apache webserver coz it talks about libxml2 version 2.5.9 which might not be installed on your system and thats the reason why you dont have that file

Have a look at the system requirements at the following page
http://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=HPUXWSAP4381

Hi,
I installed B.2.0.54.02 HP-UX Apache-based Web Server (with IPv6 support). But when I need to start the software I get the follow message
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Can't open shared library: /usr/local/lib/libxml2.sl.8
/usr/lib/dld.sl: No such file or directory
Syntax error on line 224 of /opt/hpws/apache/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /opt/hpws/apache/modules/libphp5.so into server: No such file or directory

So what I did, was comment the section when the http.conf load the php and it started, but I still need to run the PHP.
I didn't get an error during the installation.

I listed those files and just one of them isn't into the server
ll /usr/lib/dld.sl
-r-xr-xr-x 1 bin bin 163840 Apr 25 2001 /usr/lib/dld.sl
ll /usr/local/lib/libxml2.sl.8
/usr/local/lib/libxml2.sl.8 not found
ll /opt/hpws/apache/modules/libphp5.so
-rwxr-xr-x 1 bin bin 4053020 Sep 19 03:03 /opt/hpws/apache/modules/libphp5.so

Can someone help me!!
Thanks

If you installed from depots and did not modify httpd.conf this should not happen.

If you modified httpd.conf, restore it to its original state and start the web server. It should start. Then make more modificatons and test with the httpd -T or -H command to make sure your configuration will work.

If you did not do a depot install consider getting them from software.hp.com and doing that.

This is quite curious.

SEP
