The only thing that it is doing is setting the enviroment variables for the class libraries. <BR />Try comparing the environments between when it does work and not... <BR />look closely at the LD_LIBRARY_PATH<BR /><BR />good luck. If I wait for the startup to complete, login, and run the application it finds the JRE and runs.
