      <description>Hi~ &lt;BR /&gt;I need to patch for oracle installation.&lt;BR /&gt;When i run patch, display messages with below&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;"The patch fileset "PHKL_18543.." MAY ONLY BE INSTALLED UPON A PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED BASE FILESET...."&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I don't know what to do. &lt;BR /&gt;It is difficult to installation. --;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>The message clearly says that this patch can be isntalled, only if you have installed certain product/file set.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;PHKL_18543 -- Is known for breaking systems. Before you install this patch, TALK TO HP.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You need to check your system first, to find out whether PHKL_18543 has been installed or not on your system. Run the command below :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# swlist -l fileset |grep PHKL_18543&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you dont have, you need to install this patch and it's dependencies. You can download all the patches from HP ITRC website.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;NOTE :&lt;BR /&gt;Please make sure that the option below is UNMARKED when you install the patches :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;[ ] Reinstall filesets even if same revision exists&lt;BR /&gt;[ ] Reinstall files even if same one already there &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this information can help you.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers,&lt;BR /&gt;AW&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>You must be awared that PHKL_18543 is a critical patch, which CAN'T be re-installed,or, will cause an unrecoverable OS crash!</description>

      <description>Famous patch set.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Install it once, all is good.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Install it twice system is toast.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Its included in dependencies a lot.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Nerver use the -x reinstall=true option with swinstall and this patch.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Always use -x reinstall=false with swinstall when installing a patch set that includes this patch.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
