I have three ux 11i servers to consolidate into 1, there are different printers on each server and of all types local directed to a telnet session remote and networked the comands that i was inteding to use you will see in the attachement. my question is that once i have run the procedure for 1 server will running it again overwrite the newly imported config.
Is /var/adm/lp just a holding piont for the update to /etc/lp
any info or suggestions would be welcome, i would normally not worry and deal with manually if necassary but very large amount of printers to install.
regards
Andrew

I think you can save the printer configuration through SAM (it save it in /var/sam/lp dir)
Do this for all servers and combine the files.

Restore this configuration through SAM on consolidated server.

For these printers how does host name resolution happens?? If through /etc/hosts, you can just do regular config save and restore and change host names in /etc/hosts itself.
