Installing Ignite version c.6.2.241

Hi,
I would like to upgrade our Ignite software to c.6.2.241. Do I just install this software on ignite server or I need to install this on our client server also.

Shalom Anju,

First make backup copies of any customization you have done to any INDEX or other configuration files. If you do not, this will be lost with my next required step.

swremove
swinstall

Unlike many depot products, installing the new version of Ignite without removing the old, often leaves you with two non-working versions of Ignite.

A mess, best avoided.
