Performance issue

Hi All,
We are migrating one server to another, one of the bg job take nearly 3 hr in one server, 6 hr in another server both are low end server. But in the higher end server( L class) with OS 11 takes 12 hr to complete the job,
how I can increase the performance in that server?
any suggestion?

Hi there.
Pls explain the kind of job and the equipment more detailed. It might depend on your I/O load and some other factors. You should check the performance with a tool like sar, top or glance during your runs to find the bottlenecks in the systems.
