Is it true that something is wrong when SYS% &amp;gt; USER% (see below)?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Load averages: 3.20, 2.95, 2.82                                                                                        &lt;BR /&gt;472 processes: 369 sleeping, 102 running, 1 zombie&lt;BR /&gt;Cpu states: 4 processors&lt;BR /&gt; LOAD   USER   NICE    SYS   IDLE  BLOCK  SWAIT   INTR   SSYS&lt;BR /&gt; 3.20   0.8%  43.8%  54.5%   1.0%   0.0%   0.0%   0.0%   0.0%&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;sar -u output&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;15:19:00    %usr    %sys    %wio   %idle&lt;BR /&gt;15:20:00      46      49       4       1&lt;BR /&gt;15:21:00      43      53       3       1&lt;BR /&gt;15:22:00      46      50       3       1&lt;BR /&gt;15:23:00      43      51       5       1&lt;BR /&gt;15:24:00      44      52       4       1&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Average       44      51       4       1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can you also recommend any good beginner books for tuning?</description>

      <description>Thank you DCE.  I appreciated your time and help.  I am struggling with the numbers of seeing ksyncer_daemon constantly taking on average 35+% of a CPU.  I read up on the KDE website and they boost that it is light weight.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;AM I being nuts?  (On glance or top this daemon is constantly on top 5 PIDs)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in advance.</description>
