hi,

i would consider run queue (r) and page-out (po) columns to be more important in tracking any performance issue.

u may like to post your vmstat output to ascertain any performance problem.

regards.

Hi,

Blocked for resources means that these many are waiting for some device for I/O operations which is not accessible or is doing extensive I/O operations.

This is quite usual of it is within a range on 50-100 in peak load. Also it depends upon the application and the usage.

HTH,
Devender

Shalom moon,

If you can post some output, that would be helpful, perhaps the summary section.

If you need to collect some data:

http://www.hpux.ws/system.perf.sh

Runs background and collects for a time period you decide.

I think you have a bottleneck but will not speculate on the cause without seeing some raw data.

SEP
