Hi Shiv,

"kcweb" is web based Kernel tuning management tool. It is only available for 11.23. There was a depot for 11.11, it is discontinued right now.

It uses apache webserver to run.

Just export your display variable and do as,

# export DISPLAY=<YOUR_PC_IP>:0.0
# kcweb

-Arun</YOUR_PC_IP>

Hi Shiv:

The 'kcweb' kernel management tool appears in HP-UX 11i version 2, or release 11.23.

You can access it from SAM, a web browser or the Service Control Manager (SCM).

You can read more in the "Configuring a System" chapter of the Managing Systems and Workgroups" guide.

http://docs.hp.com/en/B2355-90950/B2355-90950.pdf

Regards!

...JRF...

It can also be started straight away from if your DISPLAY variable is set by

#kcweb

HTH,
Devender

For older version you can use sam easily as kcweb. If you are having x terminal then,

configure DISPLAY variable to your machine.

# export DISPLAY="Client IP":0.0
# sam

Client:

start x client session.

IT will open up a GUI sam as like TERMINAL based on command line.

--
Muthu
