Hello when execute the command make_tape_recovery obtaing this error:

Apparently there is an error in the var/opt/ignite/recovery/2006-02-07,10:45/archive_cfg file. Try removing the file and re-starting your recovery. Or try swremoving Ignite and re-installing the latest version.

I think Pete might have something there. Since this is a pretty new version of Ignite, I wonder if you used swremove the old version before you installed the version you have now. In any event I would swremove Ignite and then re-swinstall it.

I have had this issue in the past. It is usually caused by illegal characters in the filenames ignite is trying to archive.

You may be able to identify the files and remove them if they are non-critical prior to trying Pete's suggestion.

solution :

deleted the line error in file .cfg
