Yes - if you don't get this:

# swlist -l fileset | grep SPOOL
DistributedPrint.PD-SPOOLER B.11.11 PD-SPOOLER
PHCO_32222.LP-SPOOL 1.0 PrinterMgmt.LP-SPOOL
PrinterMgmt.LP-SPOOL B.11.11 LP-SPOOL

Then you may have to re-install it...

What happens when you try a lpsched -v

Anything in /var/adm/lp/log ?

Rgds...Geoff

Hello Prassath,

SAM uses the following command to verify if the PrinterMgmt.LP-SPOOL is configured or not:
swlist -l fileset -a state PrinterMgmt.LP-SPOOL

If the output states as not configured, the PrinterMgmt.LP-SPOOL can be reconfigured using:
swconfig PrinterMgmt.LP-SPOOL.

Finally if nothing else works, reinstall the PrinterMgmt product.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Sanjay

Peace!

Messr. Kishore is correct.. I also have encountered this same issue before. DO a swconfig on the printermgmt product. However - seeing this, it is probably symptomatic of bigger problems of your OS. Were there issues during the install of your OS? Did your OS install "cleanly" in the first place?
