One of our server got crashed so we had restored it through Ignite backup which was old. After restoring it shows 2 different logical path for for root disk. After that we tryied to mirred root partition on the secondary disk it fails stating I/o error. Now we replaced the secondary disk and boot the server in maintance mode & try to restore the root partition, but after restoring root partion it shows stale partion for secondary disk. In /etc/lvmtab it shows the logical path of the primary root disk which doesn't exists.
Shalom Mahesh,

Information is missing. If possible, try to restore the server again.

Use ioscan to figure out where the real hardware is and perhaps use lvsplit or other lvm utilities to bring your system back to a mirrored state.

Perhaps you used the wrong Ignite image.

SEP
