Upgrading powerpath software?

I have HPUX 11.11 with powerpath 4.3, we want to upgrade to powerpath 4.5. Do I need to remove pwoerpath 4.3 before installing 4.5?

Hi,

No - it's a cumulative package.
There's no need to remove old to reinstall new.
Just install it & reboot - then you're good to go.

Hello,

As Jeff said, there is no need uninstall PP4.3 when installing 4.5. Just install as it is, no need to remove or reconfigure anything. It should work ..

Just overlay.
Remember to:
powermt config
powermt save
Can really help in the future.
