Hi
I had came across one article some time back here is what it said:
say you have the package file: /tmp/package.tar

To make that into a depot do the following:

swcopy -s /tmp/pacckage.tar

Then when you come into the swcopyy menu, specify what you want your depot
to be called/placed, let's say:
/depot/800/10.20/patch_bundels

Then, do the analysis (you might want ot check out some optiong on the
option menu so that you copy all software no matter what). Then, after the
analasys, do ther copy, and you will now have the depot.

You can check the afterwards with:

swlist -l depot # List the depos on your server
or

swlist -d -s /depot/800/10.20/patch_bundels # List the contents of the depot

Hope this helps

Cheers
