Hi :

Version 11.11.20 dropped out of support in June 2003. It was also know as 11i version 1.5.

You should acquire 11.23 (11i version 2) or use 11.11 (11i version 1).

You can order either version if you have a current support agreement by using SUM:

http://licensing.hp.com/welcome.slm

Regards!

...JRF...

Shalom Andrew,

Unless you have applications that require it, you are much better off with 11.23 than with 11.22.

As noted prior, all you need is the right Core OS cd/dvd and you can install to that level.

That OS level is reached by Core OS CD.

I recommend against the other path, called upgrade-ux. Also note that PA-RISC machines can not run 11.20, only Itanium class machines. If you have a PA-Risc machine, the only higher level OS available than 11.11 is 11.23.

SEP
Hi Andrew,
There was no release of HP-UX known as 11.11.20. There was an 11.20 release, which is what some of the replies above are referring to, and which has been replaced by 11.23 (known as 11i v2).

Can you be more specific about what you mean by '11.11.20'? Where did you see this string?

Some products in HP-UX may have a version string such as 'B.11.11.20' (for example, there is a Networking package with this version id), and it's possible you might be told to install that version of a product.

Andrew
Yep. As said by Andrew, there is no release of 11.11.20.

Check this.

http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=976640

See JRF reply.

--
Muthu
