Yes, It will work without any trouble. Do you have any issues with NFS over WAN ?

Yes it will.. regardles of bandwidth.

I have even in the not so distant past done it over a 9600 bps SLIP (serial line internet protocol) connection.

And yes you can specify protocol -- I always use TCP.

What protocol you should use for WAN NFS to up for debate - TCP or UDP?

Gurus? or Gurii?

yes ,i am facing problem . It shows busy when i tried to mount the file eventhough nobody is accessing it.
