    <description>Hi Muhammed,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;These are the steps to go to single user mode in itanium.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1.Reboot the machine&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2.Press any key when you see the following message "Press Any Key to interrupt Autoboot "&lt;BR /&gt;3.type "boot vmunix"  on &amp;lt;\EFI\HPUX\AUTO&amp;gt; prompt&lt;BR /&gt;4.type "boot -is"  on &lt;HPUX&gt; prompt&lt;BR /&gt;  &lt;BR /&gt;cheers!!&lt;BR /&gt;sysadm&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/HPUX&gt;</description>

      <description>Use the console ip and login. Reboot or boot it and interrupt at prompt and give as boot -IS will send you to single user mode.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;--&lt;BR /&gt;Muthu</description>

      <description>one way give command &lt;BR /&gt;  shutdown now &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;will take you single user mode &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;second way &lt;BR /&gt;press any key in 10 seconds comes on screen after restart system .press key and than at prompt apply command&lt;BR /&gt;hpux -ls&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards&lt;BR /&gt;Gaurang</description>
