Installing Java 5 on a 11.11 machine

Hello,

I am about to install Java 5.0 on a 11.11 machine and I need to know which steps should I follow to do that.

> hostname:/root/home/root (root) uname -an
> HP-UX hostname B.11.11 U 9000/785 2004166652 unlimited-user license

Should I apply any patches before moving ahead? Where can I check the patch/patches that I will need to apply?

Any input will be VERY appreciated.

Thanks guys.

However, I've already arrived to that site, but downloading and installing ALL those patched could take AGES. I've been trying to find some place to download the latest Quality Pack, but to no avail. Are those available for free download or am I doomed to install ~40 patches? :\

Determining which quality pack is installed

HP-UX Quality Pack bundles include all stable defect-fix patches for core HP-UX, graphics and networking drivers. To obtain the latest free Quality Pack bundles for your version of HP-UX, go to HP Software Depot's Support Plus at http://www.software.hp.com/SUPPORT_PLUS/qpk.html.

To determine which Quality Packs are installed on your system use the following command:

/usr/sbin/swlist | grep -e QPK -e GOLD -e BUNDLE11i

If there are Quality Packs installed on your system, you will see bundle tags similar to the following in the output:

QPK1100 B.11.00.64.4 Quality Pack for HP-UX 11.00, March 2004
GOLDBASElli B.11.11.0506.4 Base Patches for HP-UX 11i v1, June 2005
BUNDLE11i B.11.23.0409.3 Required Patch Bundle for HP-UX 11i v2 (B.11.23), September 2004
