      <description>I am having a telnet problem.&lt;BR /&gt;When I try to telnet into one of my servers.&lt;BR /&gt;Here is what happends.&lt;BR /&gt;Trying...&lt;BR /&gt;Connected to possvr.&lt;BR /&gt;Escape character is '^]'.&lt;BR /&gt;Local flow control off&lt;BR /&gt;Connection closed by foreign host.&lt;BR /&gt;--------&lt;BR /&gt;What does this mean and how do I fix it ??&lt;BR /&gt;thanks..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Richard&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>make sure your /var/adm/inetd.sec file allows telnet access to everyone.&lt;BR /&gt;if this is true&lt;BR /&gt;then check for errors in syslogs and console for ptys/strptys.&lt;BR /&gt;if you find them then increase the pty nos thru sam, this is a kernel parameter that can be increased to provide more telnet access.</description>

      <description>I'm actually haven't the same problem on two of my machines. I haven't figured out the answer to the problem yet either. I can still rlogin but telnet doesn't work.</description>
