      <description>My RP3440 machine fails to boot from primary and secondly boot disks. I have tried to boot it in single user mode but that is also failing.       <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can try to boot using old kernel&lt;BR /&gt;ISL &amp;gt; hpux -lm /stand/vmunix.prev&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if you have changed anything like generating new kernel or SCSI card changed etc. revert it back.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hope this help&lt;BR /&gt;Pat</description>

      <description>Sill same...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;No manual changes made to system. It was running since last 1 year as standby node in MC/Service guard.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have access to MP Prompt. Please let me know if any diag. can be done from there.</description>

      <description>&lt;BR /&gt;If you are doing a telnet to the MP from another UX server try to make typescript as following :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;script log.txt&lt;BR /&gt;telnet LanConsoleServerHs&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(+) Take a look at the Console Log &lt;CL&gt;.&lt;BR /&gt;You'll can see if there was a problem during previous shutdown and boot.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;F to go to first antry&lt;BR /&gt;L to go to last entry&lt;BR /&gt;and enter key to go true next entry (be sure to go true all the pages).&lt;BR /&gt;Ctrl-B to Quit&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(+) Take a look at the Event Log &lt;SL&gt;.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;B for current boot&lt;BR /&gt;T for text entry&lt;BR /&gt;D for Dump (Ask Y to the question)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Q to quit&lt;BR /&gt;Q again&lt;BR /&gt;X to end MP connection&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Now you should be back on you other unix server.&lt;BR /&gt;type script again to stop the typescript&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can take a look at the result or post-it here, I'm sure someone will help you.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this help&lt;BR /&gt;Pat&lt;/SL&gt;&lt;/CL&gt;</description>
