    <description>I have a customer who has pvlinks set up and is getting a critical error (HPUX OS /vg/vg02/pv_pvlink/status/c68t4d2 EMS Problem Event: Value: "DOWN(3)" For Resource: "/vg/vg02/pv_pvlink/status/c68t4d2" (Threshold: != UP) yet when he looks at the syslog there are no issues. Ioscan shows everything is good.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>This was a known problem with EMS that was fixed initially in the following patches:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; [PHSS_28144/PACHRDME/English]  for HPUX 11.0&lt;BR /&gt;  [PHSS_28145/PACHRDME/English]  for HPUX 11.11</description>

      <description>thanks for the quick response. I have checked on the system and and that patch was superceded by PHSS_28844 and that is applied on the system. Anyone have any other suggestions?</description>

      <description>you said ioscan shows all good.. &lt;BR /&gt;Is there any time stamp associated in EMS? &lt;BR /&gt;And if you can check diskinfo, you should be all good.. &lt;BR /&gt;Check if EMS is repeating these messages.. &lt;BR /&gt;might be time to reset your fibre.. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks and regards&lt;BR /&gt;Prashant</description>
