    <description>Check out the man page for syslogd:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;++++++++++++++++++quote+++++++++++++++++++++&lt;BR /&gt;The second part of each line describes where the message is to be logged if this line is selected.  There are four forms:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;           +  A file name (beginning with a leading slash).  The file is opened in append mode.  If the file does not exist, it is created.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;           +  A host name preceded by an @ character.  Selected messages are forwarded to the syslogd on the named host.&lt;BR /&gt;++++++++++++++++unquote+++++++++++++++++++++&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Pete</description>

      <description>Hi All,&lt;BR /&gt;I have a central syslog server running on Red Hat Linux 9.0.It is able to accept syslog messages from other windows as well as linux boxes.Can anyone please let me know how do I configure HP-UX boxes to send its syslog messages to the Linux syslog server.</description>

      <description>Shalom Sauvik,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm confirming Pete's answer.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It works on Linux for me on five world-wide servers and it should work fine for hpux.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
