NDM to the best that I know is an application acronym, called Network Data Mover.

It is an archaic file transfer utility between two servers. Again to the best that I know, it provides a auditble trace of moved data and successful transfer or lack there of.

You can read the FAQ on NDM here:

http://www.proginetuk.co.uk/sections/faqs/126.htm

Word of caution: Depending on your particular case, it may be the acronym for something else but on the sys admin circles, this is the most commonly encountered explanation.

Hope it helps.

Mel
