      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I want to install Hpux 11.11 on J6750 server.&lt;BR /&gt;When i run "getconf KERNEL_BITS" i get 64.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can i install the OS to be 32bit?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How do i do that?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Not possible. The J6750 is a 64-bit machine only. Use this command to verify your workstation's capability:&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;getconf HW_CPU_SUPP_BITS&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Here is another reference for recent workstations:&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://h20331.www2.hp.com/hpsub/cache/288789-0-0-225-121.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://h20331.www2.hp.com/hpsub/cache/288789-0-0-225-121.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;HP has not manufactured 32bit-capable HP-UX workstations or servers for several years. Note that the majority of well-behaved 32bit programs will run without any problems in the 64bit OS.</description>
