    <description>These could be one of the solutions for you:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Run fbackup in single user state...this is the recommended method since problems with partially updated files (files open and changing during the backup) will be avoided.&lt;BR /&gt;2. Increase the number of semaphores available in the kernel.&lt;BR /&gt;This parameter can be changed with SAM by changing the kernel parameters semmns and semmni&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Jaime</description>

      <title>fbackup(4003): failed</title>

      <description>When running fbackup on a HP L class server(HP-UX11.0) I am getting the following error..fbackup(4003): semaphore op failed: op=-1. soemtimes the backup hangs and other times it continues (I assume when there are sufficient semaphores available)The ITRC has recommended that I changed some kernel parms to increase the number of semaphores, this was done but the problem persists.  Has anyone out there experience this problem?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;Chris</description>
