Hi,

"sar" is part of core system. You can find sar at /usr/sbin/sar.

# swlist -l file |grep -i "/usr/sbin/sar"
OS-Core.SYS2-ADMIN: /usr/sbin/sar

You can also download sar check from www.sarcheck.com to format reports and collect logs in servers . A typical o/p from one of my prod boxes is attached for your refrence .

sar is loaded on the base install. This is true on most UN*X'es.
