Hey;

You also have to edit the /opt/ssh/etc/ssh_config and ensure it's set there (commented out by default):

Host *
ForwardAgent yes
ForwardX11 yes
Protocol 2
[[snip]]

HTH;

Doug

Hi, I've got a server (HPUX 11.11) that i'm trying to set up X forwarding. When I login with "ssh -X -v ovo12" i get the following message;

debug1: Remote: X11 forwarding disabled in user configuration file.

When i look in the /opt/ssh/etc/sshd_config, I have;
X11Forwarding yes
X11DisplayOffset 10
X11UseLocalhost no
but I also have the following line hashed out
#AllowTcpForwarding yes

Any help in getting X windows working would be much appreciated.

I believe Doug is correct. It looks like a problem with the client. Modify the ssh_config as above.

...jcd...
