Why would you want an Unix account called anonymous to be able to run the dir command on a remote NT server? or not to be able to run the command.?

Regards,
Jaime.

Trying to allow anonymous ftp in windows? Check these links:

http://www.windowsnetworking.com/nt/registry/rtips122.shtml

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q101897

Note: unix ftp requires a copy of /sbin/ls in ~/ftp/usr/bin as well as a variety of other recommended directories / permissions.

You might have better luck finding information in a "windows" forum if this is what you are trying to do; however.
