Shalom,

You don't update firmware from one OS version to another.

Part of the OS upgrade, or better yet cold install is an installation of firmware. When this is down, you search the itrc patch database for firmware releases that are subsequent to the OS you just installed and then install that.

"upgrading firmware".
This gives only 15 results so may go through the one which is applicable for you.

Hi Nandam,

For PA RISC server you need to update the firmware but for Integrity servers and Itanium based servers you ned not update the firmware when you upgrade to B.11.23
Which model servers do you have?
