Reset iSCSI settings

After having a play about trying to configure iSCSI on our HP-UX server I would like to reset all my current iSCSI settings to the default. Does anyone know of a command to do this? My thinking is that I may need to unistall the iSCSI software and re-install, but would want to avoid this as the server will need a reboot and it's a 24/7 box? Thanks in Advance.

Hi,

What parameters do you think you have changed and are trying to reset? I do not think we have a command to restore iSCSI defaults. Have you checked the user guide under docs.hp.com (look for iSCSI software initiator )?

Won't deleting all targets enough?

To Delete an iSCSI discovery target IP address from the kernel registry, use:

# iscsiutil [/dev/iscsi] -d -I [-P ][-M ] The ip_address specified can be an IPv4 formatted address or a DNS name

A TCP port may be specified for the iSCSI target. If no port is specified, the default iSCSI target port (3260) will be used.

The target portal group tag may be specified (a value from 0 to 65535 inclusive); otherwise a default value of 1 will be used.
