For PA-RISC:
echo "itick_per_tick/D" |
adb -k /stand/vmunix /dev/kmem |
grep "000" | awk '{print $2/10000 " MHz" }'

For Itanium:
echo "itick_per_tick/D" |
adb -o /stand/vmunix /dev/kmem |
grep "000" | awk '{print $2/10000 " MHz" }'

Victor is correct unless your running 11.23 on PA-RISC. Then you have to use his example for Itanium.
