Command to check System/CPU temp?

Is there a command to check the status of the system/cpu temperature in hp-ux? I am running 11.23 on an rx8620.

hi,

by GSp, you can see if temperature is norma or not in Cm menu

Login on GSP, select CM and execute PS

Ctrl B for exit

for example :

PS
System Power state: On
Temperature : Normal

Power supplies State
-------------------------------------
Power Supply 1 Normal
Power Supply 2 Normal

Fans State
-------------------------------------
Fan1A (CPU) Normal
Fan1B (CPU) Normal
Fan2 (Memory) Normal
Fan3 (I/O) Normal
CPU0 Fan Normal
CPU1 Fan Normal

Jason,

There is not really a command that you can use to check for system/cpu temp.
On the other side, servers are supposed to detect when they are getting to hot, and have a mechanism to let you know.
Other way would be to configure the servers with SMH and a server with SIM to pull information like temp out of the system.
