    <description>check to make sure you mapped and masked the disk properly to the HP in question. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can use ECC for that. or if you have the utilities on the HP you can check with one of the sym commands. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if that is ok then you need to run&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ioscan &lt;BR /&gt;insf -C disk or insf -e &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and then you should have a usable disk.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Do your disks show up in 'ioscan'?  If not, then it sounds like you need to set up the LUN on the EMC so it is assigned to the HP-UX server.</description>

      <description>Did your bin file ran ok when you added the disk?  No errors?&lt;BR /&gt;Are you able to see the disk in your Symmetrix or whatever EMC storage box you are using?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;LN</description>

      <description>after changing disk, you should run fcmsutil /dev/tdx replace_dsk Target_N_Port_ID.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Pls check your syslog.log, I think there is error message about changing disk, you can get port information there .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
